Let's face it, the main thing of significance this year was wedding preparations and such. Ok, so along the way I graduated grad school and we got our Dixie girl.

2011: The year of the new house
In June, we had to put our Raider down since he was very sick:(
July 17, 2011 we celebrated our 1st anniversary. Also, we started our tradition of anniversary selfies.
In September, we bought our first house. (Those two cars were our high school cars that we parted with a couple of years later)
2012: The year where nothing too exciting happens....
We ran our first (and only) 10K in February with Mr. B's dad and sister in law....I walked!

We vacationed in Del Rio at my Great Uncle's lake house...I have no idea why there are no pictures of Mr. B
July 17, 2012 we celebrated our 2nd anniversary
I made a career change that year. I went from teaching Pre-K for the past 3 years at a daycare to Teaching first grade at a school.
Also in August, we got our Harley boy. We were now a 2 dog family.
We got rid of Mr. B's high school car for this beauty in October!
In November, we went to Cowboys Stadium for the first time to catch my Texas Tech Red Raiders take on the Baylor Bears.
2013: The year we became parents of twins....almost
July 17, 2013 we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was also on this day that we found out we were expecting our first child!
On August 5, we found out we were expecting twins!
Sadly, a month later we found out that I had miscarried both twins at 10 weeks. I kept a detailed blog each week of my pregnancy, including our feelings about the miscarriage. You can read that blog "Twins and Grins" for a detailed journey.

Later that month, I got my hair done (it always makes me feel better) and we went on our first date since we lost our babies.
In November, we went back to Cowboys Stadium to watch Tech and Baylor play
2014: The year we decided that extravagant summer vacations were a must
I love Miranda Lambert. So I convinced Mr. B to take me, in March, to Oklahoma to check out her store.
In June, we vacationed in Del Rio again. This time, Mr. B got to join us. I now remember why there was no pictures of him two years ago.....he didn't get to come!
July 17, 2014 we celebrated our 4th anniversary in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!
Our first time out of the country since our honeymoon. It was this year that we decided that each year we would use our tax return to fund a super fun and elaborate vacation until we had children.
It was in July 2014 that Mr. B and I began our couple's painting journey. We've been doing it ever since. Our house is decorated with our works of art.
October 21, 2014....did he really just turn 29!? His last bday in his 20s.
We also bid farewell to my high school car (lil blue chevy) in favor of another Honda Civic.
In December, we started our Starbucks caramel apple cider and Christmas lights tradition.
December 21, 2014 I turn 29. Wait, what? When did I turn 29!? It was a fun night of the Nutcracker ballet and Christmas lights in Sundance Square.
Christmas was spent in Lubbock for the first time since 2009. No worries, this snowstorm hit after we arrived.
2015: The Year of New Babies to Spoil
We went to our first Murder Mystery party....80s prom theme
The first in our group hit 30 in February....The big dude up front.
We enjoyed many snow days in February.
In March, we hit up the shooting range for the first time. This Texas girl has finally fired a gun!
In April, we finally met my sister's baby boy! We were asked to be his godparents. An honor we gladly accepted.
In June, we had game night with friends that involved this amazing food.
Then, we had a pool party with our gang. (This has become an annual thing the Saturday after school gets out. It's how we kick off our summer)
Then we spent some time in Lubbock with my family and New Mexico with my parents.
Then we spent a week taking care of this sweet baby. Check out my detailed description in my post: "My week as a mom."
In July we took a mini Texas trip to Fredericksburg and Austin.
In July, we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in Riviera Maya, Mexico at the Hard Rock Hotel. Read the whole recap here.
In September, I made the decision to start a healthier lifestyle by joining Beach Body
In October, we celebrated Cooper's 30th birthday at Risky's BBQ in Sundance Square with friends and family.
At the beginning of December, I noticed that I was significantly smaller than I was in late July
